This is a Democracy, Not Communism!

With recent news stirring regarding remarks made by Gen. Stanley McChrystal, I just had to get my hands in on the drama. It’s safe to say that President Obama isn’t too happy with the blunt honesty of the General, but what exactly is our President looking for? Mindless working drones? Everyone has an opinion and while the opinion’s of people in a place of power should sometimes been diluted, it shouldn’t be punishable.

May I remind you, Mr. President, that this is not Communism and you are not Kim Jong-Il. There are going to be people who have negative opinions regarding how you and your administration are conducting things within our country and you are just going to have to grin and bare it– much like George “Dubya” did (maybe ignorance is bliss?). In no way do I feel that you need to stamp your feet like a two year old with a tantrum because someone you appointed showed a tad bit of disrespect and lack of professionalism. While he may have willingly placed his proverbial foot in his mouth, perhaps we should take into account of how well he’s doing the job he was appointed for. Let’s face it, he wasn’t hired as a PR representative and the majority of his time is probably spent figuring out military strategies – we aren’t talking about Mr. Rogers here.

Have we forgotten we have a bigger problem than some “greasy” general (pun intended)? President Obama needs to figure out ways to stop the oil spill he has so quickly forgotten and ignore the opinions of others. The Honest Factor asks you to get your priorities straight, Mr. President!

What is your opinions about this? How honest can you be and what is your HONEST FACTOR?
